As Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Presidential Personnel, Raghavan oversees the recruitment, selection, vetting, and appointment of over 4,000 presidential appointees across the Biden-Harris Administration. Raghavan has 20 years of experience in campaigns, advocacy, and government, including as Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), Vice President of Policy for the Gill Foundation, and as President Obama’s liaison to the AANHPI and LGBTQ+ communities.
Raghavan was born in India, raised in the Seattle suburbs, and graduated from Stanford University. He is the editor of "West Wingers: Stories from the Dream Chasers, Change Makers, and Hope Creators Inside the Obama White House." He lives with his husband and their daughter in Washington, D.C.
