Dan Lin is Chairman of Netflix Film. Previously, he founded and was CEO of Rideback, the entertainment company known for producing tentpole live-action and animated titles for global audiences. Lin produced the 'LEGO Movie,' Stephen King’s 'It' and 'Sherlock Holmes' franchises, among other titles. Before that, Dan served as SVP of Production for Warner Bros. Pictures, where he oversaw films such as Martin Scorsese’s Oscar® winner 'The Departed.' Dan is the Founder and Chairman of the Board for Rideback Rise, a 501c3 non-profit content accelerator supporting POC creators to advance racial equity. He holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
