Kaitlyn Chen shines both on and off the court as a Guard and Captain for the Princeton University Women's Basketball team. Set to graduate this year with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medical Anthropology, she's leaving a remarkable legacy. Recognized as a Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) Honorable Mention All-America, she's only the fourth player in Princeton Tiger history to achieve this prestigious status. Moreover, she's been praised as the United States Basketball Writer's Association (USBWA) national player of the week. Kaitlyn is set to graduate third in Princeton's history in assists and twelfth in points. Her tenure with the Tigers has been marked by success, including three Ivy League titles, three Ivy League Tournament titles, three Ivy League Tournament Most Outstanding Player awards, and two NCAA Tournament victories. Notably, she holds the school records for career points, rebounds, and assists, along with a single-game record for the most points scored. Off the court, Chen's academic pursuits are equally impressive. Majoring in Medical Anthropology, she's delving into research examining how socioeconomic status impacts access to sports during upbringing, showcasing her commitment to understanding the intersection of sports, health, and society.
