Reid Bowman, MPH, CHES (they/them) is a public health professional and advocate specializing in mental health promotion, trauma-informed care, and violence prevention. They hold an MPH in Health Behavior from UNC Gillings and dual degrees in Public Health and Psychology from Tulane. As Program Manager at NAMI Wake County, Reid expanded mental health programming, led youth outreach, and strengthened safety protocols. Previously, at the Orange County Rape Crisis Center, they helped redevelop the SafeTouchâ„¢ prevention curriculum and trained educators statewide. Passionate about inclusive program design and community partnership, Reid believes in the power of education and empathy to drive systemic change.
