Cindy H. Liu, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist, Director of the Developmental Risk and Cultural Resilience Program (www.drcrlab.com), and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School in Pediatrics and Psychiatry. Her research examines stress and its impact on mental health across the lifespan. She leads the BOBA Project (www.thebobaproject.com), funded by three NIH grants, studying how Chinese American teens develop Asian identity through family, peers, and social media. Her work, supported by foundations and philanthropy, has been featured in major media outlets. In 2023, she received Clarivate’s Highly Cited designation, awarded to the top 1% of cited scientists worldwide.
