Perry Chen is the Director of Partnerships & Programs for Blue Shield of California’s behavioral health services. Since 2020, he has managed the company’s corporate and employee philanthropy, including the BlueSky youth mental health initiative which is centered around improving access, awareness, and advocacy. Prior to Blue Shield, he has held leadership positions in philanthropy (Chief Strategy Officer, Stuart Foundation), public school systems (Chief of Staff, Oakland Unified School District), and community nonprofit organizations (Executive Director, Oakland Asian Students Educational Services). Perry graduated from Harvard University (education & public policy) and Harvard Law School.
