Meena Srinivasan is an educational leader, award-winning author, and speaker advancing mindfulness, belonging, and mental health. A former school administrator, she is Executive Director of Transformative Educational Leadership (TEL), a fellowship cultivating equity-centered, compassion-based leadership and home to one of the largest Asian American affinity spaces for educational leaders. She also serves as a Founding Board Member of the Thích Nhất Hạnh School of Interbeing, a lab school for healing-centered education. Her TEDx talk on tenderness sparked original research with the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She lives with her husband, Chihiro, and their son, Kailash, at Deer Park Monastery.
